Charlotte's Web by TNB

We had a wonderful time watching TNB perform Charlotte's Web today. They are awesome actors and had amazing sets and costumes.

Remember that Library is on Mondays for our class. Several boys and girls have not brought a book back for a few weeks. Please check your house, and send back any over due library books.

Report cards are going home today for K-2 with the homework duotangs (tomorrow for 3-12). Please sign the envelope and the note inside about parent-teacher interviews, and send them both back tomorrow. You can keep the print-out of the actual report card.

Parent-Teacher Interviews will be Thursday night from 6:30-8:00 and Friday morning from 9-12. (There is no school for students on Friday.)

Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will have the TNB (Theatre New Brunswick) presentation of "Charlotte's Web" at 9am. Thanks to everyone who sent in at least $2 to support this wonderful show.

Homework for this week:

*Finish homework duotang by Friday.

*Read a book each night.

*Grade one practice spelling words and Kindergarten practice tricky words and sounds.

*Kindergarten complete homework writing each night and finish game by Friday.

Happy Spring!

We have been practicing counting in French, and love the song "Violette". We will sing it at our assembly on Friday.

Spring is here, but it is still quite cold and windy on the playground most of the time, so please continue to send hats and mittens.

*Practice tricky words, read a book, and complete dictation (Homework Writing) every night.

1: *Finish homework duotang by Friday.
*Study spelling and read a book/chapter every night.

*Complete dictation list in homework writing books each night (the parent says the word (slowly) and the child writes down the sounds he/she hears).

1: *Finish homework duotang by Friday (we have finished all the games).
*Spelling test on Friday (met, web, spin,tea, heat, leaf, each, who, which).
*Keep practicing doubles and magic numbers.
*Read a book each night (or a chapter).

Upcoming Events:
*Bring at least $2 for TNB as soon as you can (It costs a lot of money to bring them here, but they put on an amazing performance).
*Assembly on Friday March 27th.
*Report Cards will go home around March 31st.

Parent-Teacher Interviews

**Partent-Teacher interviews have been moved to April 2nd in the evening and April 3rd in the morning (from March 26th and 27th). So students will have school on March 27th, but will not have school on April 2nd.**

Here is a presentation about colors that we made to send to L'Ecole L'Etincelle, our partner school on Miscou Island.
